[ytriples-l] Stuck rear axle spacer Was: Changing my own Tires

So far so good - front one changed. Now I'm trying to remove the rear 
wheel to change that one, but the axle won't come out due to the spacer 
being stuck. I can slide the axle a bit, rotate it pretty freely, but 
it is as if the spacer is fused to the axle. Vice grips, WD-40, rubber 
mallet, etc. No luck. Anyone else had this problem? The spacer is soft 
enough that the vice grips can be tight enough to gouge it, while 
slipping anyway.
